SMS Terms and Conditions
1. The program
Smart Shield Solutions Service Notifications are text messages about the work we do. We send:
- To customers: appointment confirmations and reminders, links to estimates and invoices, payment receipts, and updates about your job.
- To our technicians and subcontractors: job assignments, schedule updates and job details.
We do not send marketing or promotional messages through this program.
2. How you join
Customers join by entering their mobile number and ticking the consent box on our text message sign-up page, or by saying yes when our staff ask, as they book service by phone, email or in person, whether we may text them. Technicians and subcontractors join by giving their mobile number when they start working with us and agreeing to receive work notifications. After you join we send one text confirming it. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchase.
3. Message frequency
Message frequency varies with your service activity, typically a few messages per job.
4. Costs
Message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier for details of your plan. We do not charge for these messages.
5. How to stop
You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text STOP to any of our messages. After you send STOP, we will send you one message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive messages from us. To join again, reply START or sign up again on our sign-up page.

7. Delivery
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your carrier and coverage.
8. Privacy
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. See our Privacy Policy.
9. Changes
We may update these terms and will post the new version on this page.
